ABOUT ME:

Tenaciously independent as an artist and unwilling to tie myself to a genre, I studied opera in Princeton, wrote a alt-folk album in Nashville, and now I’m working on an alt-pop-meets-indie-punk-rock album. I love writing songs, and when it comes to sound, the story that the song is telling completely dictates that for me.

INFLUENCES:

BIOGRAPHY:

I was born in September of ’93 in Lancaster, Pa to a philosopher and a child psychologist-turned dog trainer. I have always been singing. I went to Westminster Choir College for Vocal Performance and spent three years learning how to sing classically in Princeton, Nj.

In 2014, two weeks before my Junior recital was set to happen, my father passed away after a lung surgery. I moved back home to be with my family, where we quickly experienced more loss. My grandfather passed soon after my father, and in the fall of 2015, my 18-year-old niece passed in a car crash. I never had my Junior recital.

In 2016, I moved from my hometown to Nashville, Tn, and four years later my roommate, Steve Barnett, and I would have an entire album full of my songs that we had recorded in our home.

I released my debut album “Soil in the Rain” in the late summer of 2020 amidst a global pandemic. With little money and no real knowledge on how to market myself, I put out the album to a fan-base of mainly family and friends. It caught the attention of another producer in Nashville, Nick Bullock. Nick reached out and I knew that I wanted to work with him to develop a more amped-up sound for my next releases. We would record three singles together a couple months later, “Baby,” “Sprained Ankle, and “Loser.” Nick and I have been working together on my sophomore album to be released May of 2024!
